I love that 6900 case. I had one too, the regular battery version. After about 11 years of daily use, a big chunk just came off the front side of the 'case' while I was putting it on.



Broke my heart. The band on the broken side was no longer secure, so the watch now hangs over my workbench in the garage. Still works, as a wall clock. I think I'll be buying a new one soon.
