I have had one my 19 for several years. It has worked flawlessly. It is, as someone pointed out, not very bright, so it's not for outdoor shooting in the daytime. For a home protection gun, it is great. It's also easy to zero. Replace your rear sight, go to the range and sight it in, then all you have to do is dial in the laser to match your POA. When I first installed mine, I had concerns about the durability since it must take in the slamming of the slide, but it never gave me any problems there either.
