Yes. I have a 3-9 X 40 and a 2-7 X32. The glass is fantastic. I have no experience with tactical scopes. My time in service was still mostly iron sights, and I personally just like a crisp, clear, bright image with an aiming point uncluttered with dots or dashes or rings; and I generally lean toward lower power glass than most, but then I don't shoot much past 300 yards, ever.
