Regulations are for business purposes. If you sell your tomatoes to the public or export them, then sure they can regulate that.

Really? You read the entire text of that law in 7 minutes. Impressive.

If I give my neighbor a couple of dollars for a bushel of tomatoes he grew in his back yard, he is now considered by the FDA to be a "very small business" and those regulations would apply.
