lived in lafayette for 7 years, great place, beautiful brunette women, friendly people, good food, festivals, decent oil and gas and medical field opportunities.
I love new orleans but can't afford it since i like good seafood/steaks, bourbon st, and harrahs on canal. I do like that everything
seems semi-legal/acceptable there. Great food too! I had an apartment w/2nd floor balcony in the quarter. Had enough of that now I'm up in the woods.
couldn't pay me to move back to houston.
