It's the best remedy I ever found for stress. Bad day? Job pressures? Preoccupied? Jump.
Nobody at the DZ cares who you are or what you do. All they care is that you don't care, and that you want to jump. It's a place you'll find it's easy to be accepted and to accept. It's a great place to get away, to hang out, and to be.
Skydiving isn't about a thrill. It's about freedom.
It's not about financial freedom, of course; once you start, kiss your savings goodby.
Damn good post, never thought of it quite this way. I'm going skydiving.
