I've always been on the iPhone platform except for April - October of this year. I was using an Android (Galaxy Nexus).
People make the image thing way harder than it needs to be.
Just install dropbox and let it auto-upload all photos/videos.
Take a picture and it is on all of your devices/computer instantly. Bam... problem solved.
