This problem has been common to way too many LWD connectors for quite awhile now. I guess I got lucky with mine because, after a little judicious polishing, the ones I've got work perfectly. The one in the above pictures, however, looks like crap. The last time I asked, 'Don' at LWD to correct two mistakes HE MADE on a small parts order, he told me to, 'Just buy more parts rather than ship what I had back to them on my nickel.' That might have been a perfect solution for him; but it wasn't a perfect solution for me!
