I started with a S&W five-inch barrel revolver for the few weeks I was with my first department. When I came here, I was issued a four-inch barrel S&W. We shortly thereafter went to the Ruger Service-Six.

We went to the SIG 226 for several years, then transitioned to the .40. I traded my initial issue .40 for a 226R when we authorized lights.
