First, congrats for having a lady that will pick up a .357 (or any other handgun).

The trigger job you seek is simple for a good gunsmith. Just do a little research to find one that has real experience tweaking revolver actions.

Even with a snubby barrel, the Security Six is a pretty heavy piece. Add a hard trigger pull, and its understandable why she would find it awkward to shoot. Plus, its not so easy to conceal on a female torso.

If my lady wanted to shoot handguns, I'd fix her up with a mid-size .38 or 9mm, I think. In my humble opinion, a Glock G19 is a near perfect handgun for any man or woman.

You'll figure out what she needs. Nice of you to work with her on finding what works best.
