Same here. I was never supposed to leave Bagram. And NEVER on a convoy.
By the time the RC sorted out thier confusion and called my family it had been over a week. Then they led them to believe it wasn't near as bad as it was, which I'm only too happy to let my family keep thinking.
My Mom already has a bad heart.
