Glock 45acp Magazine Compatibility

Sorry, if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find it through search.

On the Glock 21, 30, 36, and the SF and S variants, what mags are compatible with which model?

In the 9mm Glocks, the 17 and 33 rounders can be used in all models.
The 15 rounders in 19s and 26s.
The 10 round from the 26 can only be used in the 26.

What are the relationships in the .45acp models?

TIA

G21 mags will fit the G30/G30sf, not positive about G30s.

G21 13-rnd mags will fit and function in the Gen3 G30S and in the G30 (Gen3 and Gen4) and the Gen3 G30SF as mentioned above. The G30S frame is the Gen3 G30SF frame.

The 10-rnd and 9-rnd factory mag for the G30 will fit all of the G30, G30SF, and G30S. They will not fit the G21, of course.

The G36 single-stack mag is unique to that pistol and will not accept any other factory mag alternative, nor can the G36 mag be used in any other Glock 45ACP pistol.

With factory mags and aftermarket equipment there is a wide range of magazine options with the G30/G30SF/G30S to load 9, std. 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 27, or 30 rounds in a single mag.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Do the SF models take a different mag? I had a G21sf owner tell me his mags won't fit my G21.

The G21SF owner is misinformed about factory mags. There is no difference in the dimensions of the magazine cavity between the standard frame and SF frame. Any mag that functions in the G21SF will fit a G21.

There are some nuances to the Gen4 pistols, where only Gen4 mags will work if the reversible mag release has been switched to left-hand service. Furthermore, the first models of the Gen3 G21SF, with the original ambidextrous mag release (different from Gen4 reversible mag release), require a mag with the center notch for the ambi mag catch, but we don't need to get into that.
