I just finished reading Enemies Foreign and Domestic and there is a scene where the police shoot up a truck and it's occupants because it matches the description of the truck they are looking for. It was used to get away after shooting a Senator. It's remarkably similar to what's going on in Kalifornia right now.

Read them all. The first is a C, the second a strong B, and the third is an A grade.

Yeah, because cops have never had mistaken identities before...

I suppose if the cops identified them, they wouldn't have shot them.

BTW, the intent of this thread is not start a cop bashing thread. Just thought I ought to put that in black and white. It's more to point out that the police are fallible, just like anyone else, and the logic that we can all put away our guns and be protected is a joke.

MB is alive and well. He escaped California several years ago.

I make no claims for his present ability to foresee future events so I felt the use of "is" would be grossly inappropriate, however his has demonstrated this capability in the past.

Matt is alive and well , still pushing . He lives next door to a friend of mine .

I did not know there was a third book. I really enjoyed the first two.

Off to Amazon I go.

Get his 4th one as well. Castigo Cay. It reads like a James Bond movie in a minor key.

Matt and I have communicated over the years. I was one of the first to buy his first book. I expressed some concerns about how things would have happened which led to the "CLA" in his second book.

About four months ago, I e-mailed Matt to tell him he was rather prophetic. He appreciated the contact and begrudgingly agreed.
