The first and original.

jsnake 02-08-2013 13:51

Love the first, but, no. 4 struck a chord with me. My son's favorite movie is no. 3.
Joe

GeorgiaGlocker 02-08-2013 13:52

The first one is usually the best.

Shock & Awe 02-08-2013 13:57

First one was best. Really liked the fourth too.

larry_minn 02-08-2013 13:58

So what is order again?
IIRC 1st was that Christmas party at Nakatomie Plaza?
2nd Was that airplane/airport or Samual Jackson and bombs in schools?
Could someone list them, which one it was/

TSAX 02-08-2013 14:03

Die Hard - LA, Nakatomi Plaza with the wifey, Hans Gruber and the dude from Family Matters (Carl Winslow)
II - DC airport with the drug lord, the NYPD tv show guy and the Glock 7
III - New York with the "Good Samaritan" (Samuel L) and Hans' brother Simon Peter Gruber and Lurch from the Adams' family.
IV - Varies locations on the east coast with his daughter, the Justified dude and Maggie Q (Nikita)

Die Hard: 1988

Original - party at the office.

Die Hard 2: Die Harder 1990

Airport - rogue military / mercenaries.

Die Hard with a Vengeance: 1995

Samuel L. Jackson. Gold heist. Simon says.

Life Free or Die Hard: 2007

Cyber hacker plot stuff.

I like the first one and number three.

Bill Powell 02-08-2013 14:08

the one with bruce willis in it.

umadcuzimstylin 02-08-2013 14:11

The original was my favorite move as a kid.

moonwilson 02-08-2013 14:11

I have 'em all on Blu Ray and watched them all recently. The first one is by far the best. The second and third are okay and the fourth is pretty decent.

Hans Gruber for the win. Alan Rickman makes that movie. The crazy long haired dude with the Aug is pretty cool too.

Hauptmann6 02-08-2013 14:11

I like the deep cycle 12 volt. they seem to last a while.

Kilrain 02-08-2013 14:12

I guess these guys will have to add another verse to their song.........

Mrs. VR 02-08-2013 14:15

First one. Akan Rickman is my favorite bad guy. Second one just annoyed the crud out of me, because I live in the DC area, and the whole time I kept thinking, why don't they just freaking land at Andrews?!

Or National. Or BWI.

Mrs. VR 02-08-2013 14:40

Yeah, them too!

it has been so long since I've seen it, I couldn't recall if there was a threat of takeover at the other regular airports, so I grabbed at Andrews. But yeah, it required way too much suspension of disbelief!

rednoved 02-08-2013 14:59

1 and 4 were my favorites.

Yeah, that one bugs me too. The more you know about aviation the more disbelief you must suspend in that movie.

I still kinda liked it though.

1, 4, 3, 2 in order of liking them.

Mrs. VR 02-08-2013 15:13

Did I mention how much I :hearts: Alan Rickman?

KenInColorado 02-08-2013 15:17

The first one. I watch it every year at Christmastime, it's in the Christmas Classics rotation.

We'll be on a beach, earning 20%

Every time Snape walked onto screen that's what I thought about him saying.

CBennett 02-08-2013 15:45

They were all "fun" but the original..because at the time..well it was like nothing id really seen before. Seen plenty of cop movies and war movies and such but nothing quite like that movie.

TSAX 02-08-2013 15:51

Is it just me or did Die Hard 1, 3 and 4 make the Feds look really dumb. And shows about Feds tend to make the PD's look dumb :whistling:

Die Hard the original is my favorite Christmas movie. It's not Christmas until I go hide from my in laws in my man cave, and pop in the Die Hard Blu ray.

1,3,4,2 is my order of preference.

Looking forward to seeing number 5

fnfalman 02-08-2013 16:12

The original is the best but I also enjoyed the last one.
