RIP Patty. A different class of people than what I'm used to seeing in entertainment today.

That's a damn shame.

I was just listening to "Rum and Coca-Cola" on the radio just yesterday.

Sad news indeed. Prayers to the family.tom.

I remember the Andrews Sisters well.

Bon voyage, chanteuse.

I had the pleasure of being part of a trio that performed Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy on several occasions and it was always a lot of fun. I'm sorry to hear of Patty's passing.

The Andrews Sisters' movie, 'Buck Privates' with Abbott & Costello was hilarious! The Andrews Sisters loved the USA and contributed to our WWII effort by entertaining our troops with morale boosting songs and movies...not like the USA-hating Hollywood of today.

During those times, entertainers had style & class...not like the degenerate, self-indulged 'celebrities' of today! Today, to become a star, all you have to do is 'self-release' a sex-tape, starring yourself and a local gangbanger and you're an instant 'celebrity' with your own reality show!

RIP, Patty. A class act for sure. :patriot:

Sad?

Shame?

She was 94 and lived a full life. Pretty sure she would want us to celebrate her instead of mourning.

Not a HUGE fan, but they could sing.
