Anyone one use a guide rod laser on their G20 or G29? I see Lasermax has a couple of option. I thought I would ask for some input from the forum group. I am getting older now and have a hard time seeing my sights. I thought a laser would help. I no I don't like the grip style.

Never have shot with a laser but the other day I shot with a red dot on pistol for the first time. Have you considered mounting a small holographic sight? That would give you a dot you could see in all lighting conditions and distances. I've heard that lasers are hard to see in bright sunlight and not useful past a certain number of yards

You might be able to get a burris fastfire 3 for ~$200. I bought a sightmark recently for my AK for $40 but that one may be too big for a pistol. Just some thoughts.

I wonder about replacing the Glock-installed RSA with the one that's part of the laser...

I have Lasermax guide rod lasers in my 20 and 29 sf. No issues nwith recoil or accuracy evn with my hot loads. They work fine in low light situations. If you have trouble in all light levels the a holographic red dot may be a better choice. Good Luck!
