Glock Talk - Hi from Florida

I'm new to the forum and have been browsing it for a couple of weeks. After deciding to join it I thought I would say 'hey!'

I'm semi retired after having retired from law enforcement and another career in real estate here in Florida. My wife recently joined me in my real estate practice. I more or less train and mentor her. She's rapidly getting much better than I ever was as a real estate sales person but I help keep her out of trouble since the law is in my wheelhouse.

I was a detective and upon retirement, gave up my weapons. Due to the current political climate and some dangerous situations in the real estate industry, I decided it was time to obtain a good weapon again. I selected the Glock 27 and have applied for my CCW. I intend to have my wife trained and expect to purchase one for her, too.

I grew up with weapons and was always on our department's shooting team. I was far more proficient with revolvers and was always proud of my collection of 2, 4, and 6 inch S&W revolvers but did own a 9mm as well. I'm a new believer since getting my g27, though! I really like the .40 cal and especially the small compact frame.
