New toy...
I just picked up my first .380 last night and I'm pretty excited about it. I just need to change the grips (I really dislike the redwood grips) but I'm looking into an IWB holster for it since hip carrying (more the concealing aspect) is more difficult for me during the summer. Any brands you guys might recommend?

 I like the wood grips.

Are you a female?

Nice. We own a P238 and have found it to be very satisfactory for carry in the hot weather. Would not want to hunt griz with a .380, but for personal defense we consider it adequate. We normally use a cheap pocket holster for ours.
We trudge on. |

If so, good for you. If not......as long as you like it. |
I don't know what it is about the grips. Redwood, black frame, rainbow metal...I found some sweet carbon fiber looking ones I may have to invest in.
Yes, I am a female. My problem is that Im about a buck 15 and have a 24/25" waist so when I hip carry during the summer it looks more like a hip deformity with a muzzle sticking rather than actually concealing a firearm. That is unless I decide to go with a bulky sweatshirt in 80 degree temps...which actually isn't a true statement since its still extremely obvious. This is based off of my old carry, a Sig P250SC. I haven't really taken this one out as I'm still getting used to the safety and drawing from a Fobus style holster. It's definitely different than my old holsters. |

A women and rainbow doesn't usually= Boyfriend!
And as much as I love Carbon fiber, Carbon and Rainbow don't mix! |
Sig makes very nice black aluminium grips that would look good. I've got them on my 938, the 9mm version of your 380.
