Underwood has 10mm 180gr in stock

Just a heads up, i just ordered 250rds of 180gr 10mm from Underwood. There are as of now approx 120 boxes in stock over 2 different 180gr offerings.

Trapped_in_Kali 12-28-2012 23:51

Thanks, just ordered 10 boxes of FMJ for range ammo, they are now down to ~37 of FMJ.

He had 180's and 165's. When they are gone PBR Ammo is the next best thing for the money and they have some stock. I don't have a third unless you go DoubleTap.

Do you know which HP PBR uses?

HPR/Scottsdale looks like a good 3rd choice.

They show XTP's. Just more expensive than the PBR Ammo.

cookand 12-29-2012 17:09

What about the PBR ammo? Do you know what HP they use?

Nozzelnut 12-29-2012 23:45

Just looked at all the 180gr and it loos like its sold out.

SolidBrass 12-30-2012 01:18

I missed out when Kevin brought out the 220 hardcast. It's out of stock now, sure hope he brings more back online soon.

Their FMJ are more reasonably priced. http://www.scottsdaleammo.com/product_p/10180fmj.htm

Looks like Parabellum Research has either 155's or 200's in stock at good prices. ~$22.30/50

cookand 01-06-2013 15:00

I'm going to try this one more time and then I'll quit, I promise.

Does anyone know what HP PBR uses in their 10mm ammo?

doverpack12 01-06-2013 20:56

Cookand this is straight off PBR's FAQ page

"Do you load defensive ammunition?
No, we are currently focused on producing ammunition geared toward the practice market. Some of our loads do feature hollow points, such as the 357 Sig, but those loads are not comparable to purpose-built defensive ammunition utilizing hollow points such as Remington's Golden Sabre or Winchester's Ranger Talon. While our loads, like all ammunition, can be lethal they are not engineered specifically for defensive purposes."

and

"Why do you offer hollowpoints if you'd don't manufacture self-defense ammunition?
Our hollowpoint loadings are engineered to provide a shooting experience similar to the premium self-defense ammunition on the market today. This allows our customers to practice their recoil control with a stronger round, ensure that their weapon feeds hollowpoints flawlessly in a practice environment, and enjoy the superb accuracy a hollowpoint delivers. With our JHP offerings it is possible shoot more than a single magazine during a practice session without breaking the bank"

If this doesn't have the answer you are looking for just write them an email.

cookand 01-06-2013 23:15

Thanks dover, I read that. Just thought maybe someone here might have bought the ammo. I've sent an email and have no response yet. I'm impatient.

Who has ammo in stock? Underwood is cleaned out. Double Tap has mysteriously raised their prices.

doverpack12 01-07-2013 23:00

PBR ammo has 1 box 165 gr FMJ in stock and 16 boxes 200 gr FMJ very reasonable prices

Trapped_in_Kali 01-08-2013 18:15

Underwood has raised his prices. Looks like about $2.00 a box more. Still worth it IMHO.

Slateman 01-09-2013 18:11

Sent Underwood an email. Said they wouldn't have brass for another 12-15 days. So ... yea ...

Never heard of PBR
