WOO HOO!!!! Finally Got My Silencer!
After almost seven months I picked it up today:banana:
Actually, he said my stamp came back on Nov. 24th but they have been so busy that they forgot to call me.....which I understand. Anyway, here she is, home at last! http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...psb1c80d37.jpg If you guys have any tips, tricks, advice or questions, please feel free to share them....THANKS! Here is the breakdown of how long it took from date of check clearing my bank to stamping the approval date on my Form 4: 169 DAYS 24.1428 WEEKS 5.5757 MONTHS Not too bad, I was told it would be longer. Question.... Is it safe to test fire it into a bucket of sand or water? I want to try it but can't get to the range until next weekend. Thoughts? Thanks, TGG |
please turn that thing in to Sen. Diane Feinstein IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Is that a pp22 ? If so would you compare it silenced to CCI cb unsilenced?

Congrats!
Well worth the wait, wasn't it? I wish I owned a dozen .22 suppressors so I wouldn't have to keep switching them out. :) |

My paperwork has been at the ATF since September. Guess I'll wait another 3-4 months.
Congrats. I waded in with an AAC Pilot in .22 for mine. |
Should have never got it...I got one...put it in the safe after shooting and the next thing I know, there's 4 others there. Those damn things MULITPLY!

Congrats, man! Enjoy shooting it...I am in the fence about getting some NFA gear. I'll be waiting to see what happens in the next few months, then I'll be adding some goodies to the collection if they aren't outlawed...

For my education and probably others, is that suppressor restricted to a certain class of guns i.e., in your case rimfires or could it be attached to a .223 for example and if so would its life expectancy be affected? Thanks, Don

Congrats! My SDN-6 should be out on good behavior here in the next month. My 9" .300 Blackout and my Remington 700 have been waiting anxiously for a while. Like others have said... those stamps tend to multiply.

Thats cool man. Ive got a couple of the gemtech outback II's. and a p22. and one of those krinker plinker with threaded barrel. Whats cool is you can shoot any .22 ammo whether it be standard or subsonic out of the p22 it will always be quiet because of the short barrel. it doesnt let the bullet build up supersonic speed to break the sound barrier. I dont shoot my suppressors. If I do its rare. Ive had a fascination w/ them b/c I think its neat that something so small as a suppressor can actually take away such a loud blast.

My GSG AK has a threaded barrel and I got the adapter for it so it will accept my new suppressor. My question is, will I need to use subsonic ammo in a rifle? Thanks, TGG |
Any thing over 4-4.5 in you need subs/standard velocity ammo. CCI standard will soon become your best friend.
Congrats suppressed 22 is too much fun, enjoy |
You don't need that to hunt deer!
