Help me spend my christmas bonus
Well, I own a G27 Gen 4 and a G23 gen 3. I would like to spend part of my Christmas bonus on a new Glock. My only though is that I don't want another .40.
Additionally I own a G32 barrel so a G32 should be scratched off the list. Anything else is game. Let's have fun and help me bring home some tupperware  |
Easy. 19,17 or a 26

Yes, go buy my mint condition G31:

Gee, I'd love to help you spend money. What're we getting? :whistling:
Oh, wait, you just wanted advice. Well, can't go wrong with a G19. Personally, if it were me, and I had as many Glocks as you have, I'd go for something totally different. A vintage Colt revolver maybe, or a "black" rifle while you still can. An old S&W wheelgun can be awesome too. A good quality .22 target rifle and/or pistol is pretty much a staple everyone should have. I don't understand why people buy so many Glocks. They're generally reliable, simple, easy to maintain - in other words amazingly functional. Every shooter should have one, maybe two. But they're historically and mechanically boring. Having some variety is good too! |

Let me put it this way. I really only have two with one g32 barrel. So two functional pistols at one time. The rest of my gun collection is fairly well rounded. I own everything you mentioned.
The better reason is that anything Glock will meet imediate female exceptance and she may just fall in love. Regards, GMB |

I can't remember if you reload or not,if you do consider a G 20. SJ 40 |

No I don't reload at the present time however a G29 or G20 were in my sights. Parros has just about every glock imaginable in stock so I figure a trip there this weekend might end in the ownership of a new safe child.
Going to get into reloading this year BTW. Regards, GMB |
PS There is no bad suggestion. I was even thinking .45 GAP in case the ban thing goes for "military calibers" 10 mm would qualify for that as well I think.

I'am new to the Glock stable and only own a 23 Gen4. But my friends who introduced me to this addiction, all highly recommend the G30. Good luck.

G17!
Everyone should have one, it's easier and cheaper to shoot, perfect for GSSF competition, great for teaching new shooters with, women and puppies love them, and everyone should have one.....yes, I'm tired, have had enough to drink, and I'm going to bed now. :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/06...s/DSC00012.jpg :) |
Butch is right, every Glock collection "needs" a G17.

"Help me spend my christmas bonus"
A couple bottles of wine, a box of cigars, a couple hookers, then waste the rest on a G26, a G19 and G17. The 9mm Glocks are the cheapest to shoot therefore they get shot the most. More shooting = more fun. :animlol: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d98/leflers/Right.jpg |
If you are contemplating carrying it a G26 and if it s going to be for range use a G34or maybe a G17, depending on which you like better.

Yes Parros was very well stocked the last time I was in and while it's always great to pick up a new gun or Glock, I would recommend you seriously think about a Dillon loader. http://www.brianenos.com/store/dillon.html http://www.brianenos.com/store/dillon.550.html http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/con...atid/1/RL_550B http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0__O...ature=youtu.be I was in Datillios yesterday and he was just notified by his distributer that along with 223/.556 allotment,9 mm was now on allotment also. He was in a scramble to get a hold of another distributor to get more 9 mm in stock. The sooner you start reloading the sooner you take control of your ammunition supply. Think on it Seriously. I would get a G19 barrel and mags. And or a G30 or G21!
I like the bigger holes! |
Get a G39 for carry (easier shooting and bigger hole than G27) & practice with your 27!
Then you'll have a MAN'S gun! :tongueout: |
A Gen3 G17, G19 or G26 would be my suggestion.
|
SJ I do like the idea of the press. I am seriously considering that as an option. I am pretty much down to the 10 mm or the 9mm.
I am very well aware that they have different applications. To me a 26 would be a good choiice and MRS. GMB might just give it some carry time. Then again a G20 would follow me into the woods quite a bit. I may ask her and let her make this call. |
Op the glock 20 and the 21 both in the sf flavor sound good.
