One of the dogs I walk is from a doctors office. He lives there all day ( belongs to the doc), and the patients ADORE him.

How about unfriendly job sites? I've wrangled at least a dozen racoons and now one opossum with this grabber.

One of our equipment managers has a Shepard mix that comes to work every day. She's in the office about 25% of the time and spends the rest of the day riding around the ranch in his truck and chasing rabbits and squirrels through the fields. I'd kill for that kind of schedule :)

Huaco Kid 11-08-2013 12:27

She wasn't that friendly (because she had babies up there).

I caught an iguana at our office complex once. (behind the dumpster) That was weird.

Your visitors look friendlier. :dog:

He reminds me of the dog that lived at the farm in the valley, when I was a kid. Once or twice a week he would hike up the hill and make his rounds and scratch on each door in our subdivision, for treats. Everyone liked him and some people with no pets would keep dog biscuits by their door for when Sugarfoot showed up.

If we were playing in the street, he would stick around all day. He would find and retrieve our baseballs if we hit them into the jagger patch over the hill.

Huaco Kid 12-23-2013 16:04

ps...

That pink eyed horse creeps me out.

Huaco Kid 12-23-2013 16:09

Do you call him "Shovel Monkey" to his face? lol.

At one jobsite I go to, they call me "The Hole".

"The Hole's here."

If someone goes into a confined space (which I don't), OSHA rules specify that someone else has to be a 'hole watch', as long as that guy is in there. Often, my customers have to escort me while I'm on their site, hence my nickname.

"I watched "the hole" the last time. It's your turn today."

It's boring for them to watch me work, but it's their rules.
