That said, if it works well and you have a use for it, it sounds like a good idea. I'll be curious to see how it works.

If I wanted a rail and a light, I'd get a Glock, not a Hi Power and, if I put a rail on a gun, it wouldn't be magnetic. What a terrible idea.

I'm used to pistols with light rails. However, this pistol was a heirloom from my dad so I have to keep this and sell my P226.

This will also be an HD pistol so a light would be needed IMHO

The mount would need some minor modifications for it to fit properly though
