I just saw Christine for the first time.
The movie directed by John Carpenter. I'm 24, so I can't blame myself for just now seeing this classic of a thriller film. The car definitely was a character, and to be honest, I found myself rooting for " it " when " she " went around hunting the bullies down.
The scene where Christine rebuilds herself while the romantic music was playing also was tremendous writing. Anyway, in the spirit of halloween, this move is a must see. Also, Alexandra Paul is pretty hot. Last part wasn't necessary, but it's true. |
Obama still sucks.

read the book, it blows the movie completely out of the water.
but that's almost always the case with novel to big screen translations, but especially with stephen king stories. |
One of my favorites.
I just hope Hollywood doesn't remake it. |
'IT' was the scariest book I've ever read.
'Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room' was the scariest movie I've ever seen. Sometimes, what makes a book good doesn't make a good movie - and vice versa. I agree that 'Christine' was a pretty cool movie. |
That movie was not only a great horror/action movie, but also a GREAT character acted wonderfully by Keith Gordon.

Awesome picture for sure:thumbsup:

I'm younger than you and saw that movie before I was even a teenager. Obama world must be small.

I agree, I love that book after seeing bits of the movie as a kid and the copy I had had 10 to 15 pictures from the movie in it. |
Not my favorite horror film, but its definitely in my top 5.

The first thing I would go upon winning the lotto is get me a Christine 1958 Fury.
It's always been my dream car. I tend to watch the movie about once a year, and have read the book a half dozen times. I have come to the conclusion that the book car was a living entity as well as the old man. They found themselves and became inseparable. I also agree the book was better, but there was huge plot points that couldn't have been made into the movie for time constraints alone. |
The best part in the movie Christine for me was the oldies songs.

I had to get numerous cd's from the library and it took weeks to collect all the songs. I never bothered to get the songs from the movie outside the 50's music. |
I wanna ride in Jason's Fury.
|
That'd be cool.
Rolling through the hood blasting nothing after 1958 on the AM. |
