Elusive G26 FDE

I have been searching all over the place for a G26 in FDE with no luck! I'm running out of places to look, and soon will end up buying a regular G26. Does any one know of a good place to look for one?

Fire_Medic 10-12-2012 11:14

Just checked it out and there was not a G26 made in the run of FDE, so you'd have to look for an older OD Green G26.

I didn't know they made one, but if I found one, I'd buy it, too.

I have heard rumors that the next run of FDE for Lipseys will include the sub compacts. I hope this is true because I want a 26 FDE also. Supposed to be in the next coupl,e months.

Come to think of it not sure they had a 26 but they had a lot there.

As suggested I do not believe they have offered the FDE in the G26. I might consider one and I would also consider a G34 in the earth color.

My apologizes Bruce I read your post after typing mine instead of reading all the post first.

Actually they did. The second Lipsey's run was expanded and included the 26/27, 20, and 34/35 guns.

ETA: OP try Cabela's. The crappy part is you have to call each store to check stock. But they had a bunch of the FDE Glocks. When I called the store outside Dallas and had them send my FFL a FDE G21 they said they had stacks of them.

Also, with the Gen 4 models, you can tell if they were in the second run because those have 4 backstraps and 2 of those have the beavertail.

You can get a new gen 3 26 in both od and fde....check gunbroker....they had od at gander for 550

Four_T_Five and vmann, did you notice the OP was from 2012?

Lol! Nope.

Suddenly I remember what I was doing just before 7pm on October 15, 2012.

DaBurna 01-12-2014 22:01

I own a FDE Gen4 G26.... They do exist. Lispey's was the sole distributor for a while. I've not seen one in a store for quite some time.
