Colt Carry Handles Markings
 

Hello All,

Just wondering what forge markings I should look for on a carry handle to know it is a Colt and it is not another brand or a knock off Chinese one. I know there are a bunch of markings out there, just didn't know if there was a complete list I can reference to. I have seen some for sale at gun shows with an A-# or AB marking with claims that they are off of Colts. Just wanted some sort of conformation. As always, your help is greatly appreciated!

I will take some pics of my carry handle, or any markings that are on the handle. I dont use mine, I know its a Colt thow. Will post up in the morning for ya buddy!!!

Anyone else out there with Colt rifles care to share if there are any markings on their factory carry handles??

The only marking on mine is the little square on the right hand side.

Square forge mark indicates made by Brass Aluminum Forging Enterprises LLC, Ferndale, MI for Colt/BCM/DD/many others...
