I'm more of a forum reader than a forum poster, but I figured I'd introduce myself.

Originally from Upstate NY, I'm living in Atlanta now. Thought about owning a handgun for some time now and after doing much research before I was actually in the market, I decided on a Glock - specifically a Glock 19. Some range time and a safety course later, I made the purchase this past Saturday. Sorry, no pictures!

I went with the Gen 4 and what a difference the backstraps make! Holding my own gun felt pretty small in my hands, but I added the large strap and it feels perfect.

I'm not at the point where I'd be comfortable carrying everyday during every activity, but I am thinking about holsters and what I think would work for me.

That's about it. Hoping to make it to the range on Thursday. Good Glockin'
