Look for laser dot or sights first?
Mas,
When you are carrying a handgun equipped with a laser do you train to look for/focus on laser dot first or to first try for sight picture? Or does it depend on such matters as lighting, your position, available cover, movement or lack of movement, etc? Also, what type of activation switch to you prefer for laser? I can see value of separate switch esp, if concerned about giving away position. However, I am interested primarily as a civilian who will not be checking out dark alleys and if I were attacked expect it to be at close quarters. Therefore, I am not too concerned about giving away my position, and grip activiation switch seems the way to go. As always your insights appreciated. Jack |
