Do any of you own a Zeiss Conquest?
 

I recently bought a Sig 716 and am shopping for a scope. The Zeiss Conquest w/Rapid Z reticle seems appealing.

The Rapid Z comes in 400, 600, 800, 1000 gradations. I'm thinking for the gun/caliber combo, anything above 600 is overkill.

What do you think about the scope and the Rapid Z?

I can't contribute any info on the rapid z reticle, but I do own a Zeiss conquest 3-9x40. It has been a great scope. I bought it because it has 4 inches of eye releif and that has helped me out since I'm a shorter guy. No complaints so far. It seems to be a good quality optic.

No experience with the rapid Z. I did really like the 3-9 I had on a Cooper, though. Really nice glass. That said, I generally prefer Leupold. Just like an old friend, I guess.
