A brand new Blue Lable G29SF! Fire date was 8/21/12 and purchase date was 8/31/12!!

It's also worth noting that my G20, G29, and G26 all have different finishes on the slide. The G20 (top) is the 'slick' finish that has been around for a while. The G26 (bottom) has the newer, almost 'bare metal' finish. The new G29 (middle) has a finish somewhere in between those two which I have not seen before.

Anyways - I went to the range with the new G29SF this weekend and put about 100 rounds through it. I shot a mix of two different hand loads featuring 180gr GDHP and 200gr XTPs loaded hot, but not too hot. I shot at 20 feet to get used to the pistol and let me tell you, this this is very accurate little SD pistol. Even with some potent hand loads, follow up shots were very accurate. I've been shooting the G20SF for two years so the recoil is not completely foreign to me.

Now I need to get a chronograph so I can start measuring the FPS difference between the barrel lengths - something I hope household managment supports :)

I just picked up a lil' brother for my G20 also. I put Pearce Grip Extensions on my magazines too. It makes alot of difference (at least to me), to be able to get my pinky finger in on the grip. Love the G29 (I traded a Sig 232, .380 ACP straight up for the brand new Glock), and couldn't be happier with it. I've been shooting mine with some American Eagle FMJs so far, but have a fresh Underwood order on the way. I will agree it is a very accurate SD pistol.

I also have a CompTac Mtac on the way for it, and some Tru Glo TFO tritium/fiber optic night sights on order. I plan on making the G29 my EDC.

I have a CTAC for my G26 which I really like. I will look at the MTAC for the G29 as there will be a little more weight and mass.

I slide a few bucks off the top of everybWalmart purchase when the friendly little box asks me "Want cash back?". Bells yeah I say. An extra $20 added to the WM bill never gets noticed and they add up quick.

AMX called me at work today with some purchase questions that did not look right for myself or my account manager. ( The Wife ) I asked the nice lady to call my account manager. The AMX lady acted kind of shocked that I was not upset about the fraud stuff. I explained to her my ID was stolen several years ago. Just call the account manager for the interpol account numbers and our two banks info. And if you push the right button combo on your keyboard all this info will show up also informing you of our layered acct. number concerning your system. Old Hat! LMAO

What got me is they have the wife as MY account manager.... LMFAO!!!!!!! But to be fare I did auth it verbally and in writing. :)
