9mm Sub2000 DESTROYS Cinder Block with EASE!

When spending a couple hours at the range, it's always nice to mix up your targets a bit.
We found a lonely cinder block hidden in some brush and decided to put it to good use!
Little did we know, a 9mm would put it to shame... which I was pretty happy about! :devildance:

Check it out & let me know what you think! It's pretty awesome!

Wow 9mm bullets will destroy a cinderblock

faawrenchbndr 08-12-2012 15:18

Wow,.......cinder blocks are not that impressive.

Seeing as they're used as the foundation of multi-ton structures, turning them to dust with a small 9mm is impressive.
Didn't think haters would jump on this one... :wavey:

I found the video informative. When cinder blocks are used in building construction, are they left empty or filled? I built a couple walls inside a building once, and I pretty much just dumped garbage in there.

GlockFish 08-12-2012 15:29

I think that's a cool test.

Thnks for doing it.

:wavey:

My 45/70 does a heck of a job with one shot, I just never thought it was video material:dunno:

Yea I guess exterior walls are usually filled with concrete, but interiors aren't

No problem! Intended for simple enjoyment, but actually proved a little educational haha

NeverMore1701 08-12-2012 15:42

So will a .22, just takes a few more shots.

Yep, many .22's shot in a concentrated region will break it up.
But they by no means fling 5lb debris into the air.

People who only comment with dislike are referred to as "haters"...
Yea, and you could compare shooting someone in the heart to stabbing them with a screwdriver in the heart...
Does the same thing...
Nice try hater :faint:

ChuteTheMall 08-12-2012 15:54

Martial artists, even as teenage girls, often do the same with bare hand, head, elbow or foot, and they don't need 4 tries at it.:nutcheck:

Good to be reminded that we can often continue the fight by turning the bad guys' cover into concealment; and to be careful of our backstops.

9mm picks up a little velocity out of a carbine length barrel. Try some +P+ in it next time.

People who post up vids of several projectiles destroying an inanimate object are called "juvenile"

Nice try kid.

ETA. there is nothing really wrong with a whimsical video, but you really have to put on the big boy pants if everyone does not jump up and pat you on back over it.

Once again, you could kill someone with a firearm... or you could use a single, well placed punch or kick. Heck you could even choke them out with two fingers!

The point was not that a 9mm can accomplish something that no others could! It was simply showing what happens when you shoot a cinder block!!!

I never thought a forum filled with people with the same passion would bring such negativity... :dunno:

wow people!

Mr. "countrygun"

Your simply a rude *** d!ck...
People not patting me on the back is one thing...
Attacking someone for having fun is another...
Have fun living your cynical life...

I feel I must tender some form of "apology" if I hurt your feelings, but really, it is rather unbecomming to resort to name calling. Sorry if I don't find that video a "gee whiz" thing.

Less attacking you, and more not sharing your view.

I feel like I just walked into kindergarten show and tell time.

Does anybody have some milk and cookies before we all take a nap?
