000 serial number
Does anyone has a "000" serial number, just bought a g19 gen 2 with a "000" serial number on the slide/barrel and 000US on the frame.
*If you have the "000" serial number please post it so we can get accountability on how many on this site owns one* Serial Number on the slide and barrel: ***000 Serial Number on the frame: ***000US http://flic.kr/s/aHsjzc69RE Click on the link and look for the one picture with serial number. |
i would have thought the first # would have been 001. pretty neat, if you ask me!
ked:wavey: |
Mine is not the first glock because its gen 2 but wanted to know if anyone else has the 000 on there serial number
|
and i would have thought s/n "000" would have been the gun reserved for long term testing by the manufacturer to prove that line/generation functioned to perfection. kinda cool to have one. in fact, never seen one.

I will post pics of my G19 gen2 with 000 serial number tonight
|
That's cool. I wouldn't want it though. Wouldn't want to shoot it. :)
|
It won't be a safe queen it will be one of my range gun but will buy a aftermarket barrel just to preserved the original matching barrel.
|
elmer, please be careful. that gun is unsafe. send me your contact info so i could send you a prepaid FedEx box with my mailing info on it. as soon as you get the box, put the gun in it and mail it to me..............................
just kidding. seriously, congrats on your find. enjoy it. |
Thanks Alcoy, I bought the G19 because I wanted a compact gen 2 for my collection but didn't noticed the s/n until I took it home and started cleaning it.
|
I can just imagine someone trying to run a computer check on gun number 000 and having fits with a recalcitrant computer.

I one had a gun with the serial number 69 007. Maybe not as cool as 000 but cool enough.

I have a S&W with my three initials and serial #0001. Long story....

Anyway, S&W was happy with me (and a few other guys from the Firearms and Tactics Section) and they sent us our revolvers as I described mine to you. For the record, the gun has sat for the last 25 years in its mahogany case, never even opened the cylinder! http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...D_07-09-11.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l1...D_07-09-11.jpg |
Wow, I'm jealous of one and all. A little embarased to admit that the only gun I was hoping to find was a Glock sn starting with ROW. My current gen 3 23 starts with RUT.
RUT ROW maybe funny, but what you guys have are way cool. Glock probably doesn't even use the O because of confusion with zero's anyway. Didn't see a one on the sn posting. |
The serial numbers starts with 3 letters then 3 numbers so for example AAA000 to AAA999 and the next one will be AAB000 to AAB999 and so on. I'm guessing there should be a bunch of ***000 out there.

Well, I guess there can't be too darn many of these little jewels. Nice find! |
Funny I was just researching my serial number to see if I should hold on to it or just go shoot as planned. Bought mine 5/14/12 and it had the serial xxx000. I can't imagine it's going to be worth much since there is a lot of combinations of xxx out there.
Question for you though... mine is the G17 Flat Dark Earth, what was yours? |
