Concealed Holster for G30SF
Hey everyone, I need some advice. I just got a G30SF and I need a holster so I will be able to carry it concealed. I'm not a big fan of leather or nylon, but I'm open to any suggestions you may have. I would also like a magazine holster. Feel free to offer suggestions for anything else I may need to know about! Thanks!

Milt sparks Versa Max II.
You will have to wait. Order Monday they may not have reached there Month quota. While you wait get a Balde tech or maybe a MTAC. |

I've also heard various things about the SERPA style holsters, any thoughts on those?

Buy a supertuck and end your holster issues.

I carry mine in a comp tac MTAC. I like it a lot, and it's quite concealable.

Comp-Tac MTAC,......best IWB holster under $100 you will find!

Take a good look at the Remora holster, it's cheap, durable and it DOES stay put. I use it with my G23 everyday and plan on ordering one Monday for the G30 I bought yesterday.

Don Hume 721 OT is what I use for CCW with my G30sf. I also use a Blackhawk serpa CQC that is not as concealable but I like the design and it if fine with loose fitting shirts or a jacket.

BTW 18Tim68, the G30 and G23 both use the same Remora. |

I am going through the same issues right now for the same gun. I find the square, top outside edge of the slide to be a particular problem area for concealing Glocks under a polo shirt. Everything can be fine except for one little bump that prints. The only cure I have found so far, besides a wardrobe change, is to get the gun as low to the waist as possible with a heavy cant. I can do it best with the Remora, but I cannot with the CTAC. I also know from experience with 3 different VM IIs that each gun is different, so I am hesitant to commit the funds and the long wait for something for which I only need 5 seconds to determine if it is going to work or not. I would stick with the Remora except that it is a pretty bulky holster, and even with the ART cut it is hard to get a good firing grip on the gun while in the holster. BTW, I have not found any holster that will not shift during a 3-5 mile walk or hike. I think that is just a fact of life. At least for Glocks I can find used holsters at reasonable prices so my experimentation is not as costly as it is with other firearms.

Carry my G30 in a Crossbreed supertuck. Can't imagine a better holster for IWB conceal and carry although there are a lot of good ones out there.

i have a galco kingtuk on order, can't wait to try it

the remora is not really a holster --it is more of a pouch.

I have a Comp-Tac MTAC and a Remora 10A-ART XL for my 29SF. My wife and I went hiking earlier this year and I took the 29 in the MTAC. We hiked for about 3hrs and the 29 wasn't really that noticeable. I like this holster, but it's much easier to use the Remora.
I recently acquired the Remora because I needed something that could holster the gun with Glock light/laser. I called Remora and they recommended I ask for the XL version, in order to make room for the rather bulky attachment. Anyway, this holster is great. Infinitely adjustable, stays right where you put it, easy to draw from, and cost about $30. Heck of a deal, considering what the MTAC cost. |
