How many carry sig sauer?

Hello
I am curious as to how many out there prefer to carry sig sauer to other brands?:wavey:

I carry my P250SC more than anything else.

boomhower 12-11-2011 15:28

My off duty piece is a P239 in 40. At work it's a Glock though not by choice.

I bought my P238 to carry but it hasn't proven itself yet. About 150 rounds through at its first range session and about 4 failures. It feels good in hand and shoots nice, is accurate and lightweight, but not reliable enough ... yet.

I'm hoping another couple hundred rounds will clear that up and it'll be my carry weapon.

I don't know if your asking me if I'm looking for something or not but the answer if so is no.
I've carried 1911's for many yrs and I have in say the last 11 months or so been carrying a P220r sse and love it.
But I keep getting Sh-- about it from the guys at the ranges where I Shoot and from my old dept.
So I have about 4800 hundred flawless rds thru it so far and it's accurate as hell. And The guys all say BS the new sigs are crap you gotta get a german one.
And ten when I said the was originally made by the swiss I really catch it.

Sometimes I carry my 220 with slim grips. Never had an issue with it. Accurate and dependable.

We issue the P220ST as a duty gun and P239 as back up/off duty. I occasionally carry one or the other Glocks while on my time. When I do, it is almost always the much hated and despised G38 .45 GAP.

I have carried a P229 in .40 for 10 years.

Cobra64 12-14-2011 00:53

P229ST and P239.

backbore 12-14-2011 01:34

228 is my preference.

silversport 12-14-2011 06:43

have carried for duty since 1988 the P226, tried the P228 (a bit small for me), P220 and the GSR Revolution STX...off duty the P225, P230, P220 Compact, P245 as well as the previously mentioned pistols...recently P220 and P245 as well as the STX...

I prefer to carry my 229 but my g23 is easier to carry so thats the compact that gets the most play. My p290 is the easiest to carry that I own but I prefer to carry a compact.

jwhite75 12-14-2011 07:37

My G23 is my primary because it is my duty gun. I do have a P228 and love to carry it a lot.

atl-g33 12-14-2011 11:18

I keep a 226 in my car and sometimes will carry a p6

Horror 12-14-2011 14:50

P226R on duty

FM12 12-14-2011 14:50

Carried a sig 228 in 9mm and 40 as duty weps fore about 30 yes. No better testimony than that!

NH Trucker 12-16-2011 19:48

I bought a 9mm P228 (W. Germany marked) for my girlfriend because it was the best fit for her hands. She still doesn't carry it very often but only because she isn't in the habit of carrying. But it is a really good shooter!
