Looking for a range around Minneapolis area...
 

I am visiting my brother in Plymoth and was wondering if anyone could recomend or help me find a pistol range that we could go to Sunday. We are staying in the Maple Grove area and I would really like to find a range that I could take him out and show him a few things and let him fire off a few rounds. I have seen that there are some indoor ranges around, but my wife and his girlfriend will also be with and the indoor ranges start getting pricey after a couple of hours.

So, if there are any locals out there, a nice public range would be greatly appreciated.

I live back in Iowa adn there are all sorts of puplic open ranges that you can go to for responsible shooting. Was hoping for something of the same up here.

I might be late to the game here, but Bills Gun Shop in Circle Pines is a good place. There's also Bullseye in North Branch.

I might be late to the game here, but Bills Gun Shop in Circle Pines and Robbinsdale is a good place. There's also Bullseye in North Branch. Oakdale Gun Club is an outdoor range on the east side of the cities. It's a private club, but they have public hours during the week.
