Stropping what am I doing wrong?
 

In your opinion how long am I suppose to strop with cardboard to get it to work? What are the effects I'm looking for and how do I know when its done?

Dear Gear,

It's probably not the stropping, but the initial sharpening, thats the root of the problem. And, what are you going for, a razor blades edge or a using knife edge. You won't get the razor blade using the methods I've describe - just a knife that can be used. Sharpening is a perfect example of practice makes perfect. So don't give up.
