I'm hoping we'll move eventually, I'm NOT liking the taxes and legislative stupidity either. Hoping the wife will get the itch to move to PA after a few years here; she likes her job and we do like the location--if NYC could be detached from this state and never heard from again, it probably wouldn't be a bad place at all.

Painted Post? I am originally from Elmira. Small world. I loved growing up in NY, and planed on moving back there once I retired, but because of the insanely high taxes and rampant stupidity in the state legislature I will never live there again.
