I'm planning a motorcycle ride from the U.S. to Rio over December 2010 through February 2011. I keep hearing about Buenos Aires and how wonderful it is. I know there were some serious problems there in the not-too-distant past. What is it like now?
I may want to come back after Rio and spend some more time there - what is your economy like, generally?
Hey FerFal, I would like to ask you about Uruguay. I cannot get a hold of you at your blog spot and when I send you an E-mail it comes back as a bad address. Any way the wife and I are retiring soon and looking for an alternative (just in case) to the U.S. My interest is attitude towards Americans, gun laws (I have a lot), USD exchange, standard of living (farming is good) and weather. I know it is close to BsAs and I read Uruguay's Web page but am looking for more in depth information. Any help would be appreciated.
