I'm considering mounting a tlr-3 to my G26 frame, and like what you did. I'm considering using a soldering iron to attempt keeping more polymer in place.

I also have a novel idea regarding cutting the horizontal notch on either side of the serial number tag, and then modifying the key on the tlr-3 by cutting a notch in the center.

Figure this will add strength to the Glock frame and still be enough to keep the light from shifting front to back.

Another idea was to slightly mill down the pointy bottom of the trigger guard and the stippling that Glock adds to the front of the trigger guard to add import points. I figure this will give me more room to actuate the light switch on the tlr-3, and also allow the light to sit further onto the frame, reducing the overall length slightly and making it easier to actuate the switches.

What do you think? Nice mod btw- wish I could afford the viridian! Are you still happy with it?
