Diana, If A-4 stays as scheduled, we will shoot Friday afternoon & Saturday morning. If they change it up to one day only, I don't know. I picked that timing so if someone wants to drive down Friday, get there before noon & shoot, it could save them motel time & $$. Also, if they don't want to stay for results, they would have time to drive home Saturday.
Good luck at the WT Regionals. Remember, first be safe, then have fun, & if time allows, do good. This is advice my wife gives me. hahahaha. I will share it with you.
    See ya

Yeah, I'll be shooting IDPA West Texas Regionals. I usually shoot quite poorly in IDPA type matches because my brain is unable to process so much information at the same time (do I reload here...cover?) LOL. However, the challenge makes it very enjoyable (and who can beat the catering!). Do you happen to know how the scheduling is going to be for Area 4 if it gets extended to 2-3 days? Do we shoot early morning Friday through Saturday or is it afternoon Friday? It seems like not much information is going down.

    Hi!

Bad luck with WTPS matches eh? I had a bad feeling in the beginning of last week when the weather reports showed rain coming in. Thank goodness the GSSF match went smoothly (I shot Saturday morning). I really hope they continue doing GSSF...I mean, last year had a pretty good turnout. This year is just bad for all shooting matches because of economy and gas I think. As for Area 4, I am really looking forward to it. I won't mind shooting all stages in 1 day, it means less money down for hotels hahaha. Seeing that I am finally shooting an Area match, maybe next time it's going to be Nationals? :) By the way, are you shooting the IDPA West Texas Regionals?

Hey Mark!! Hope you and Lisa are well. I am planning a trip to Lubbock one weekend in October hopefully and had a question for you. Last time you and I talked, you mentioned you were part of a new range. What range and when do you guys shoot your matches? Would sure like to line up with you while I am there whether at a match or not. If there is a match I would like to get my brother introduced to you. He bought his first pistol and has been shooting at Patriot alot. I figure he may have alot more fun shooting USPSA style stuff than just bowling pins and plates.

Anyway, sorry for the long message. Feel free to call 432-559-7616 or email biblefreak1506@yahoo.com

    Talk to you later.

    Justin

Give competition shooting a try... don't let yourself be scared off by the thought of how poorly you may do. It is a learning experience, and only those willing to swallow their egos and take the plunge will ever reap the rewards.
