George Kerr is the only living non-Japanese 10th dan recognized the the International Federation. Most incredible is that he was awarded the very rare highest rank at the age of 73. Master Kerr must have some serious genes to keep him fit at such an age.

Hey fellow judoka. I've not been able to slam anyone or get slammed for close to a year. Two blownout discs in my low back was cause to fuse 3 vertabrae and install 6 screws and 2 rods. The only upside is I was down to 5' 10" and now I'm back to my former 6'. Now the surgeon (the BEST around) cannot figure why my right right foot is numb and my right leg is so painful they put me on Oxycontin. At your next workout, choke someone with their gi for ol' Clutch.

I'm a field tech in one of their service shops so, I just occasionaly see boxes of radios come through for rental customers in our area. Around here we have concerts at our fairgrounds, events downtown and things like the Special Olympics up at the ski resort that rent radios from us. I hope you can find what you need from Joan or at least get an idea of what would work best for you. Let me know how it goes, take care!
