Just wanted to say its a pleasure to read some of your writings and have the opportunity to chat with you on the forums. I just learned about your flashlight techniques in the Police academy at the Niceville florida location. Very interesting stuff. thanks again.

    Mr. Ayoob,
Sir I just wanted to let you know that while doing a google search for your colleague Mr. Clint Smith, the first response I received was a paid add under his name for Front Sight. Out of curiosity, I tried your name and recieved the same response. I'm sure you already know but I feel that I have to report such business practices.
    God bless,
    David Lawson

I guess if I'd read your responses over in GATE in the order of Oldest to latest instead of vice versa, I'd have had an answer to one of my questions. The GI and "Saddle method" are the same, right?

However, my first question needs to be reworded a bit: Is it OK to load the chamber by leaving the slide back and then slingshotting it after inserting a fall mag? Even loaded +1 (after topping off the mag) the slide does not seem to catch like I described when I rack it by hand.

    Dear Mas,
My Wife and I have been fortunate to have trained with you at MTG. I read all you have. I'm looking forward to reading "Combat Shooting with Massad Ayoob ". I only see preorder available. Will it be released before Christmas?
    Thanks,
    WDN
Also, as a Jeet Kune Do student, I have to say you are the modern day Bruce Lee of combat arms. Thank you for your contribution.

Concerning the GATE question on a .500 S&W used in self defense: The New Orleans PD may have a report on something like this in the last year.

Mas I'm a big fan! One question, I absolutly love everything that I have read on the corbon dpx and the double tap pure copper bullets! In my test on water jugs and extensive whitetail hunting I think copper is absolutly the best bullet technology available today! I have a minor in physics and would love to know your thoughts on the 100% copper handgun bullets especially in the big three of 9,40,45?

Hi Mas. I was at your recent Albuquerque class. Hope you can come back soon for the "live fire" version of the MAG-20 course.

    Love the avatar.

Hello Sir! It's great to see you on our forums; I myself have often wondered if you frequented GlockTalk in particular. Good to see you!

Thank you for all the great work you've done for us (Citizens and LE alike) over the years. I've read almost all of your articles, and I continue to keep up on all of your latest publications (Combat Handgunnery 6th ed., Gun Digest Book of Concealed Carry, etc etc). I look forward to your next book, and the latest edition of Combat Handguns Magazine. I know you probably get this alot, but if you're ever in the Vancouver, Washington area, let me know, and the coffee is on me (I would offer you a beer, but I don't drink. Perhaps a Cigar instead?).

Again, thanks for everything you've done, and keep up the good work.

    -Regards,
    Richard (Jade Falcon)
