I am writing this after seeing how a friend has evolved after the school shooting. They have school age children. They are a liberal Democrat, but have always been open about supporting gun rights and the 2nd Amendment. Now however they seem to be against owning guns. They also apparently don't think educators should be armed either.

This got me to thinking about the school issue. We all know America is a land of choices. Albeit they seem to be getting legislated to fewer choices....

Wow, finally got around to trying to shoot a used Marlin model 60 I bought about 6 yrs ago. Yeah I know 6 years is a long time but I have weapons that I haven't fired in 30 years. Jam-a-matic. Went to the Targetworld indoor range today that I and wife belong to. Wife and I shot my OD G17(that wifey has taken over) her Para Ord Tac Four and an old S&W 66 LE trade in I purchased a few years ago from AIM when they done "open" counter sales. All shooting was done with reloads. 9mm was 4.0 gr of Titegroup with a Delta Precision 115 gr fmj. The 45 was 3.5 gr of Bullseye with a 230 gr LRN. The 38 load was a 148 gr Berrys WC with 3.1 gr Bullseye in the S&W 66. Funny how the...

Thankful for a few days off from work. Thankful for still having a decent job. Thankful for health and the well being of my family.

Found some time to do some reloading for the next GSSF season. Couldn't make one outdoor match this year, due to work and family commitments. Down from around 6-9 matches per year. Hope I can get to shoot my usual outdoor matches this year.

Wishing all out there well.
