Red China. Many years ago during the Cultural Revolution, I was wandering around Red China. Of course I didn't know whether I would get out alive. I looked at the buildings - none having really been built since the British had been where I was. No clean water. Then I kept asking myself where all the money was going. Then it dawned on me -nuclear weapons. I was right. And, the US had a listening base at Lop Nor as early as 1975. The real danger is from ideologs, careerists, and plain assholes. Moreover, there was no education allowed for people who are now of an age that they are in power. A more isolated group of people (notwithstanding college students studying in the US) is surpassed only by the North Koreans Ignorance is the danger, not stealth fighters or aircraft carriers.
