I have decided I should blog about Objectivism.

In the wake of news that a film based on her most famous novel, Atlas Shrugged, has been made I have seen much discussion of Objectivism and Ayn Rand lately -much of it quite uninformed and very biased.

Many people think of philosophy as a purely academic subject or as the ramblings of robed pontificators without proper jobs. The reality is that philosophy affects every aspect of our lives, and studying it, understanding...

I clicked on the banner asking for bloggers, because I thought it might be fun to do. This is a test post to begin my blog. Once I've worked out the details of the blogging system, there will be more to come.

I shall use news stories and current events as topics to begin my rants...er...I mean commentary. I shall not write about sports or TV programs.

I will comment on contemporary topics from a masculine, libertarian perspective.
