If you go to benchmade's website. They will set you up as a legal purchaser of auto knives. You'll need to furnish copies of your credentials.
I found that their knives are much more reasonable when buying through their forum.
I live in NJ. must be an LEO to own/carry an auto knife I have purchased 3 off of the Benchmade forum.
