    I didn't even see this message until tonight.

    The company or vendor may change spring specs from time to time.

    The black follower is the current one for all .45 mags that use the plastic butt plate.

    fb-I have some new Wolff mag springs for the 4506 I mentioned to you a while back and am replacing them. I noticed the old springs at the top looking down on them, the "crook" is on the left side whereas it's on the right in the new springs. I don't suppose this matters but wanted to run it by you. I put seven rounds in the mag and tried feeding/ejecting all of them and it worked perfectly.

    The two original mags have an orange follower and another mag has a yellow. The other four have a black follower if any of that matters at all.. The new springs were nearly three inches longer than the old ones and are a bit stiff, of course, being new.

    Does it matter at all that the last wind of the new spring is on the opposite side from the old ones? I posted this on the General Firearms forum but probably won't get an answer as I don't think many have an old S&W such as this
