Hi Guys I belong to a group up in Canada where we are trying to get open carry for all legal gun owners. Our government is very opposed to this so we are trying to get the carry permits first of all for the bush for defense against predator animals and proceed from there. Our laws are pretty dumb, they expect you to call 911 when in a situation where your life is threatened instead of being able to defend yourself with deadly force whilst you are under threat of the same. If you shoot an intruder in your home who is threatning to kill you then you become the criminal. We have to lobby against such laws or become victims.

Hi, everyone! I'm in WI, where the only way to carry (legally) is openly. We're hoping that the next governor will move us to constitutional carry, like Alaska, Vermont, & Arizona - no governmental interference. Someone on OCDO (open carry dot org) pointed me to GT when I asked a question about my new lust object (G17).

Hey,New here but I was born and raised in Alaska and we were taught that everyone has the right to carry concealed or in the open
no matter what the state law says .It can not over ride the whole Right to keep and bare arms( You know it was written buy guys who just fought a war against there own government when it got out of control)

I support open carry...wish all states were like virginia.

Another Alaskan here. I open carry a lot. Pretty much every day this week. Walked into the gas station with my Redhawk on my hip. No one batted an eye. I also carry concealed. Depends on what I am up to. I don't go out to dinner with the Redhawk. No, I have other smaller friends for that.

I've OC for the last few years here in ID, western MT, and eastern WA without any drama.
