Liberals want to know why the Tea Party votes against its own welfare and the rest of us; and why to them lies make more sense than facts. Liberals are confounded by all the prejudiced votes against Obama each time he proposes legislation that will help solve unemployment by putting people back to work, and each time he proposes a rational budget that includes eliminating tax favoritism for the already wealthy – both of which will serve to reduce the budget, and each time he proposes anything for the public good. Liberals don’t understand why the Tea Party prefers to obstruct Congress rather than make sense or help the country it professes to love.

Looking for somewhere to conceal carry my Glock 20.

I am a huge guy. Think or Rode Island or Delaware, I cannot go there, don't fit. I am in Nebraska, and most places here, I can squeeze in. lol

I am 6'7" tall, 56" around at the waist, and look like Big Shows twin.

Most of my clothes fit tight already, because clothes are so hard to buy anyway, when you are this large.

So where to stuff a Glock 20?

How abut this solution?

http://www.nrastore.com/nrastore/Pro...aspx?c=10&p=SA 472

I am not a fairy type, so a man bag has never entered my mind before, but I am stumped over my few choices.

I am not the briefcase type either, and I would hate to sit a briefcase down somewhere while shopping, eating out, etc. and forget it and walk away. This stays around your neck, and even fastens to your belt.

OK, here is where it gets dicey. Do I pick the bag color, to match my shoes, or my dinner jacket? lol

This is on the NRA store page it you guys want to start a Glock NRA Bag Club. GNBC, has a nice sound to it!

Off-duty Polk deputy has purse snatched at Publix

http://www.baynews9.com/content/news...lk_deputy.html

This is actually the second female deputy's purse snatching in Central-West Florida this week. Here's the other:

Suspect tries to snatch wrong purse: a deputy's

http://www.baynews9.com/content/news..._deputy_s.html

This deputy chased after the bad guy and arrested him, but took her licks doing it.

When my purse was snatched I also chased after the guy - and caught up with him as he jumped head-first into the stolen car his buddy was driving. I hung on to the car for a while before bailing and bouncing off the pavement.

Nothing good can come of purse-carry. You will more than likely be supplying criminals with a gun, along with your cash, credit cards, and ID.

So my partner pulls a guy over for speed. He walks up to the car and the guy rolls his window down 2" and sticks his license out the window. My partner tells him to roll down his window and the guy replies "There's no law that says I have to roll my window all the way down". Partner tries some verbal judo and say he is ordering him to roll the window down, violator replies "There is no law that requires me to do so, I'm done speaking to you. Here's my license if you want it".

Partner tries to open the door, it's locked. My partner tells the violator that he can either roll his window down or open his door, and failure to do so will result in my partner breaking the window out. By this time me and another partner, as well as a PD unit are out at the stop.

Violator says "There is nothing in our Constitution, our state laws, nor ordinance that requires me to roll my window down. I refuse to answer your questions. Here's my license and if you don't take it, I will assume I am no longer being detained". He started quoting some other law but was interrupted by my partner shattering his window with a window punch and jerking him out of the car.

My guess is, this guy is a Sovereign Citizen or some kind of "cop watching" participant because we found he was videotaping the encounter.

My question to you is, what would you do in this situation and why? I've had something similar with the window a few times before and typically the threat of me breaking their window is enough to get them to roll it down.

Hello all,

The folks a Dickson, TN did one heck of a job in prep and setup for the NEW MUD bowel. I had a great time. You could have had as much fun with the old slip-n-slide yard fun. After all the rain Friday, the weather Gods had pity on us lowly humans with good sun light, a light breeze, and good jokes and lots of shooting. So what if you had All terrain rubber on your trusty steed. Once the grooves are filled with gooooooo! forget any movement. Just slip slide and pray.

Want a challenge how about shooting down hill, steep decline on slippery goo? Or uphill on steep inclines on slippery goo? But no Rain. Talk about fun. Quit a great challenge and more fun that cat mud wrestling.

I did manage to have some good runs with a 5 to G unlimited run with only +3 penalty points and a 2.62 sec plate run to boot. But what really tickled me was a 2.46 sec. stock G17 plate run. Had a lot of fun.

See Yall next Year.:whistling:

I have not been carrying lately because I have been battling multiple kidney stones and on pain medication. However today I wish I was.

While walking to the St. Pete pier on the sidewalk, I was brushed from behind by a bicyclist who the skidded and went down, almost taking my six year old son with him. He then got up, and yelled at us for not getting out of his way. Then told us that pedestrian's cannot get in the way of bikes. Then starts charging at us arms raised as if he is going to hit me, until I pull out my phone and start calling 911. He then takes off. All of this in front of a sign that states bikes must yield to pedestrians.

This guy was a lot bigger than I am. I am thankful that by taking an aggressive stance, and keeping a cool head took care of the situation. Had it gotten any more heated, I would have wanted to have a gun ready.

My wife has changed her stance, and will now be carrying when I can't.

When Barack Obama met with Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of England , he asked her . . .

"Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government?
Are there any tips you can give me?"

"Well," said the Queen,

"The most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."

Obama frowned, and then asked,

"But how do I know if the people around me are really intelligent?"

The Queen took a sip of champagne.

"Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle, watch"
The Queen pushed a button on her intercom.
"Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?"

Tony Blair walked into the room and said,
"Yes, your Majesty?"

The Queen smiled and said,

"Answer me this please Tony.
Your mother and father have a child.
It is not your brother and it is not your sister.
Who is it?"

Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered…

"That would be me."

"Yes! Very good." said the Queen.

Obama went back home to ask Joe Biden the same question.
"Joe, answer this for me."

"Your mother and your father have a child.
It's not your brother and it's not your sister.
Who is it?"

"I'm not sure," said Biden.

"Let me get back to you on that one."
He went to his advisors and asked everyone, but none could give him an answer.

Frustrated, Biden went to work in congressional gym and saw Paul Ryan there.

Biden went up to him and asked, "Hey Paul, see if you can answer this question."
"Shoot Joe."
“Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your sister.
Who is it?"

Paul Ryan answered,

"That's easy, it's me!"

Biden smiled, and said, "Good answer Paul!"

Biden then, went back to speak with President Obama.
"Say, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle."

"It's Paul Ryan!"

Obama got up, stomped over to Biden, and angrily yelled into his face,

"No! You idiot! It's Tony Blair!" :faint:

. . . AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS PRECISELY WHAT'S GOING ON AT THE WHITE HOUSE

I set up a GSSF "5-to-Glock" course up at our cabin. Shot it today my three 9mm's. it was also my very first time shooting my brand new G26, and only my second time shooting my G17.

I ran the course several times and learned a lot in preparation for my first GSSF event in July.

* I learned I'm shooting pretty consistently low and left with all three guns.
* I learned I seem to shoot my brand new G26 the best, and my G17 the worst.
* I learned (well, confirmed) that I love shooting Glocks.

As long as the weather cooperates, I'll be shooting "Glock the Plates" tomorrow. I bought a set of the steel plates and mounted them on hinges. I'm eager to try those.

I'm curious -- How many others shoot their sub-compact Glocks better than the.others?

Many people have different views on MRE's, but after being around them for 6 years, and eating at least one every single day for as long as 8 months,...

Many people have different views on MRE's, but after being around them for 6 years, and eating at least one every single day for as long as 8 months, I think they are a waste of money and space for most uses.

The MRE was designed for medium-long term nutrition and energy with a little regard to space. Although the MRE is compact compared to commercial food, for a short term misson, MREs take up too much space. Food is a very low priority during a 72 hour mission, and even assuming a light 2 meals a day would make 6 total MREs really hard to make room for.

What I always packed in my bag was a few cans of ravioli, energy bars, and candy in place of MREs. They seemed to go farther, there was more enjoyment, and they calories matched, if they werent even higher. There was less bulk and less trash to deal with.

Becuase mine were already paid for, I never complained about the cost. However, on the civilian side I see these things selling in gun stores for $8-$12!!! I cannot believe anyone would actually pay these prices, but I guess they have the cool factor for the guys who never served.

Overall, unless you have an entire connex to devote to MREs and you dont care about flavor and varity, the MRE is not for you. In your bags, instead of MREs switch it out for ravioli, beef jerkey, trail mix, candy, ect. Use the extra room for tourniquets, water, and other useful supplies.

Got this for just under $27 after tax. It seems pretty tough so far.

It has two adjustment screws under the trigger guard, tension is comparable to super-gluing the pistol in the holster... but an extremely fast draw can be had with practice. This one came with a paddle and belt loop, but the paddle is just more appealing to me. The holster can be dropped about 1'' down the paddle and it can also be canted forwards or backwards.

I tried to buy a rifle, showed the employee my DL and CCL. He told me he couldn't sell me the rifle because the address didn't match. I thought that's dumb! My state doesn't issue a new CCL for address changes. I can understand that WW may not know that so I just walked off. Then I thought, what about just buying it and having him call it in? So I went back and told him I'd just do it that way. He told me he couldn't because he had already seen that my DL and CCL dind't match. I told him to just use my DL and call it in. He kept repeating that it was a termible (not a misspelling) offense but if I came back tomorrow when someone else was working that they'd sell it to me because they wouldn't know that my DL and CCL don't match. I could have pushed it and asked for his manger because I don't think he knew what he was talking about. I figured he was just making up the last part, trying to be a big shot in his own mind. I just decided to leave. Didn't want to deal with it anymore. Anyways, thought that was funny.

Obama sends his love to the mainstream media as he gently reminds them of who he is and who they are messing with. White guilt wracked liberals don't go after black leaders. They leave them unmolested to run cities into the ground like Detroit.

That's an interesting speech by the way. Didn't Obama write a book about the dreams of his deadbeat loser dad? Now, his white mother is the hero? I thought she abandoned him too? Didn't his "typical white" grandmother banking executive raise him on the cold, hard streets of suburban Hawaii? <shudder>

Yeah, yeah, yeah, white Americans are horrible racists from the 1940's because they are against turning illegal aliens into citizens, for not supporting gay marriage and a gay activist in every elementary classroom, blah, blah, blah.

Aren't those black kids suffering catastrophic unemployment in the FIFTH year of your administration, Mr. President, Sir!?!

You know what, Mr. Obama? I'm sick and tired of YOUR excuses for the economy and for Benghazi. I'm sick and tired of your unwillingness to take responsibility for your failures as president. Like every serial liar, your words are falling on deaf ears. The nation has your measure now. The race card will avail you not.

Got it's head pinned under a shovel (was aimed for the neck, but missed). When I let the shovel up, I could tell it's head was all crushed but it was still alive and pissed off. It slithered away rather quickly. Probably wont live long. It's head was all warped and whatnot.

What kind of snake is it?
I'm sure you get asked this all the time but I really respect your experience and opinion so I'm going to ask anyway.
I have done a lot of pre-research and have opted to use Speer Gold Dots in my Glock 23 EDC self-defense gun. My question is should I use 165 or 180 grain bullets?

I have a 01 Toyota 4Runner that I want to travel around with a little this summer. Road trips, camping, fishing, ect, I want to be able to have a vehicle I can carry stuff it, as well as sleep in the back and have too for food but thats not as big of a concern.

My biggest concerns are figuring ways to block the back windows at night, yet keep the pieces conviently stored during travel and during the day. My other big concern is electricity. I thought about a solar panel, but all I would really need is something I could hook up my phone/laptop so it can charge.

Realistically, a shower every three days is acceptable and baby wipes and hand sanitizer would be used on off days.

Laundry would be done as needed, but Febreeze would be used to keep the clothes fresh smelling as well as the vehicles overall smell.

The seats fold down in the back and allow for room for blanets and pillow. I am gonna buy a mattress pad to make it a little more bearable.

Can anyone else think of ways to make a SUV more habitable for a few days?

Since I am in a tourist area plus a very liberal area I should check out the ammo counter at Walmart since there may be lower demand there. I found the promise land. Every day on the way back to the hotel I stopped in and got my 3 box limit of 50 round .223 Remington (both fmj and jhp) and am now a very happy man.

It's a target model with adjustable sights, 4.5# trigger, Beavertail Grips... The only thing I'm kinda steamed :steamed: about is the extra grips (which I won't use) weren't in the packaging. They were displaying it in the case apparently with them installed. A Gen4 G17 was sitting next to it with them installed.

Always wanted a FDE, I personally think they look better than the OD GREEN...Born Date 4/29/13
Serial # VBBxx... Pics coming shortly! :wavey:

www.repairclinic.com

Our GE dryer started squeaking a little...then worse & worse. So I look online, take it apart, and look at the common causes. Funny, I inspect the belt...looks great.

Then I go to inspect the front glide pads. 3 of the 4 pads are gone :wow: Worse yet, I look at the front drum bearing and notice the areas where the glide pads go...it's almost completely worn through.
All new glide pads, new front drum bearling, and light bulb...$48.

I like to think that I have a little automotive mechanical skill. Unfortunately, I purchased a 2005 Ford Taurus back in 2005... Other than having to replace the altinato, I've had to do nothing to the engine except basic maintenance. (Oil, tire, belts, spark plugs, et al.)

Unfortunately, I'm starting to run into problems. (I'm going to skip the issues with replacing the radio because I'm pretty weak at electrical issues all in all.) Today I tried to recharge the AC. (It's not cold.) Ran the engine, turned the AC on max, and hooked up the refrigerant to low-side service port. Should have been good, but when I hit the button there was no flow of gas into the system.

So... What is the problem that I'm looking at? I don't have a tool to check the pressure in the AC system. (I'll need to pick one up tomorrow.) I'm hoping it's not a mechanical problem, as I prefer a cheap solution. But if I can't recharge the AC...

Simple question. You needn't name every movie you happen to like, no number or order requirements, they don't even need to be that good. Just among the movies you'll watch over and over and enjoy every time.

Here are some of mine.

The Avengers
One of the highest HSQs of any movie I've ever seen. It's just fun to see that many wonderful characters together.

The Matrix
Still an excellent piece of innovative filmmaking. Maybe not as mind blowing in the writing department today, but fun to watch, and shows that cyberpunk is still going strong.

Blade Runner
Combining two of my favorite genres, Cyberpunk and Film Noir. How could I not love this?

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome
Just so freaking silly. "Bust a deal, ya face the wheel."

Conan the Barbarian
Truly an epic piece of film, that too many overlook.

Terminator 2
An excellent action movie that just happens to be well thought out as well, and asks a few hard questions about the nature of free will.

Star Trek 2
Themes of revenge, friendship, aging, loyalty, and death. A true masterpiece.

Rocky 4
Not the best rocky, but by far the most fun.

Hobo with a Shotgun
You say grindhouse slop, I say high art.

Sin City
It's because of this film that I discovered my love of film noir.

The Secret of NIMH
Not only among my favorite animated movies of all time, it's one of my favorite movies of all time period. When I was a kid I watched this so many times I wore out the tape. And when was the last time anyone used the phrase "wore out the tape."

Highlander
Forget James Bond, I will remember Sean Connery as Remirez.

What are some of yours?

Shield vs PPS vs XDs (9mm)

I've been trying to find a PPS to get a feel for, and the XDs 9 will be available whenever Springfield is in the mood... So I almost bought a Shield yesterday, then today I almost went back to the show today to buy it again.

How many of you have settled for a firearm you could find instead of waiting for something to be available?

I like the adjustable backstraps of the PPS (big hands).

I like the grip safety of the XDs. I handled the 45 and it felt good.

I'm not a fan of physical safeties, but the Shield did feel good in the hand, and it was readily available...

So, who's fallen to temptation?

I wish Glock had a single stack model with the same size of the 26!

Stealing the birth Rights of your children. CDC finds 1 in 5 children "mentally ill". Expounding on the dangers of that and the upcoming anti-self defense laws being proffered as "mental health" issues in this latest blog:

By Hook or Crook, robbing children and adults of their birth Rights.

The anti-self defense zealots will strip the birth Rights of your Children strait out of the gate.

Using multiple references to back up these opinions and the systematic way anti-gun zealots will disarm Americans, it is clearly not by chance. Having failed in the courts and most legislatures, "mental health" is the new 'in' to "subvert Constitutional protections" and advance their twisted agendas.

Anyone have a shotgun or rifle mount in a tahoe, and if so how do you like it? My department is looking at mounting either shotguns or rifles up front, finally. Problem is, I drive a tahoe with an American Aluminum K9 insert where the slide open door on the kennel is between the passenger seats. Also, with the MDT mounted closer to the passenger seat, a floor mount wouldn't be practical. Does anyone make a mount that bolts to the roof? Everything I've seen either mounts to the cage or to the passenger side floor. Help a brother out, Im tired of just throwing the shotgun in the passenger seat to slide around.
