hey, regarding the kimber. check out the ultra carry II. its they're compact .45 acp and is just about the same size as a g26/27. but kimbers have a single stack mags and the ultra II holds 7 +1.

if you want more capacity i'd check out para-ordnance "nite hawg" or "warthog". both hold 10 +1 in .45 acp.
